Concert Operetta Theater – The Merry Nibelung by Oscar Straus
Sunday, October 24^th at 3 pm at Merkin Concert Hall in NYC
A little outside of the Philadelphia area but you shouldn’t miss this crazy operetta which is a spoof of Wagner’s famous characters.
A cast of nine features AVA alums Edward Albert and Jason Switzer with resident artists mezzo-sopranos Cynthia Cook (pictured) and Margaret Mezzacappa with AVA's Josè Melèndez as music director/piano.

Lyric Fest – Biography in Music – Samuel Barber
Saturday, October 23^rd @ 8 pm in Chestnut Hill
Sunday, October 24^th @ 3 pm in Philadelphia
This concert will feature the songs, opera and choral selections from this great composer
Featured soloists will include AVA voice teacher and nationally known baritone, William Stone, and resident artist soprano Michelle Johnson.

Bucks County Choral Society – A Night at the Opera
Saturday, October 23^rd at 8 pm in Doylestown, PA
Hear all your favorite opera arias and ensembles sung by AVA alumna Cristina Nassif with resident artists mezzo-soprano Olivia Vote, tenor John Viscardi, and bass-baritone Scott Conner.

Philadelphia Art Alliance presents - An Evening of Music
Tuesday, October 26th at 7 pm on Rittenhouse Square.
AVA resident artists John Viscardi, tenor and baritone Steven LaBrie, baritone  with Josè Melèndez at the piano will perform favorites from the opera and Broadway stage.

Tomasello Winery - Opera Dinner Gala
Sunday, October 31^st at 2 pm in Hammonton, NJ
This concert has just been added due to sold out audiences!
