If you’re in the mood for holiday music combined with AVA singers – do I have events for you!

Tenor
Jeffrey Halili will be the guest soloist in
Saint Nicholas by Benjamin Britten, this Sunday, December 6 at 2 pm, at First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. Jeff is home for the holidays before starting rehearsals for
New York City Opera’s production of
Madama Butterfly. He will sing Goro and will be joined by fellow AVA alum
Nina Yoshida Nelsen as Suzuki.

You will have two chances to hear AVA alums at the
Tomasello Winery Holiday Gala on both December 6 and 13 in Hammonton, NJ. Slated to perform are
Othalie Graham,
Cody Austin (12/6),
Jeffrey Halili (12/13) and
Jason Switzer (pictured). AVA accompanist
Michele Scanlon is the producer and accompanist for these concerts.
If you happen to be in the Bucks County area, don’t miss first year resident artist soprano
Maria Aleida making her debut with the
Riverside Symphonia on December 4, 5 & 6 in various locations. She will perform Mozart’s
Exultate Jubilate along with holiday favorites.

Although it’s not a holiday concert, you can’t miss hearing tenor
Taylor Stayton and baritone
Steven LaBrie with accompanist
Josè Melèndez, performing on
The Connoisseur Series at the Philadelphia Art Alliance on Thursday, December 10th at 7pm. Tickets are $15. This concert is made possible by the Jim McClelland Fund for the Performing Arts.
If you’re in the Philadelphia area, these concerts are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!
